Visit Baltimore Announces Inaugural Legends & Legacies Jubilee
FREE family-friendly event to celebrate Baltimore’s African American heritage
with interactive activities from the city’s top cultural attractions
In celebration of Black History Month, Visit Baltimore in partnership with greiBO Entertainment presents Baltimore’s Legends & Legacies Jubilee, an afternoon event gathering the city’s top cultural attractions under one roof for free, interactive and family-friendly activities. Baltimore’s Legends & Legacies Jubilee invites locals and visitors alike to celebrate the city’s rich African American heritage and culture, while encouraging inclusivity and community engagement. The event will feature more than a dozen participants offering experiential activities inside the newly renovated Baltimore Visitor Center.
Exhibitors include: Baltimore Heritage Tours, Baltimore National Heritage Area, Greater Baltimore History Alliance, Baltimore Museum of Art, Baltimore Museum of Industry, Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park, The Maryland Historical Society, The Maryland Zoo, National Aquarium, The National Great Blacks In Wax Museum, Port Discovery Children’s Museum, The Reginald F. Lewis Museum, Renaissance Production & Tours and The Walters Art Museum.

Noon-4 p.m. Interactive Exhibits from Baltimore’s top cultural attractions
Noon-1 p.m. Food samplings from The Land of Kush
12:30–1 p.m. Opening Ceremony featuring Mayor Catherine Pugh, Visit Baltimore President and CEO Al Hutchinson and the Morgan State University Choir
1–2 p.m. Food samplings from Terra Cafe
1:30 -2 p.m. Relive History with Frederick Douglass and Harriet Tubman
2–3 p.m. Dessert samplings from Berries By Quicha
2:30-3 p.m. Storytelling with the Growing Griots – Part I
3:30-4 p.m. Storytelling with the Growing Griots – Part II
