Former Oriole to Become U.S. Citizen Tomorrow in Baltimore
Melvin Mora will join more than 50 candidates for citizenship at the USCIS Baltimore Field Office
BALTIMORE — U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Baltimore District Director Greg Collett will administer the Oath of Allegiance to America’s newest citizens during a naturalization ceremony tomorrow at the Baltimore Field Office.
Among the candidates is famed third baseman and Venezuela-native, Melvin Mora, who is second is all-time games played for the O’s at third base. He played for the Orioles from 2000 to 2009.
USCIS is asking new citizens and their families and friends to share the experience and photos at their ceremonies via Twitter using the hashtag #newUScitizen.
